Dave Mazzoni studied Management Information Systems at Drexel University. Shortly after, he attended Temple University to study Film and Media Arts. Upon graduation, he teamed up his long time friend Tom Mattera to form a filmmaking team called MazWa Productions. Together they wrote and directed their first feature film, the critically acclaimed art house drama, THE 4TH DIMENSION.In its debut on the film festival circuit, THE 4TH DIMENSION won the Grand Jury Honorable Mention Award at the CineVegas International Film Festival and the Technical Achievement Award at the Philadelphia International Film Festival. The film was officially selected to screen at 20 international film festivals including the Montreal World Film Festival, the Brussels International Festival of Fantastic Film, and the Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival.THE FIELDS marks the second feature film for Mazzoni and Mattera as directors and producers. They are currently in development with their Russian organized crime thriller, MECTL.
